Tyler Bass made a 45-yard field goal with 1:55 left in overtime to give Buffalo a 37–34 win over the Los Angeles Rams on Monday night. The winning possession came after Greg Rousseau blocked Harrison Mevis’ attempt to end the game, turning an apparent second chance for Los Angeles into one for the Bills.
Buffalo’s first overtime drive had reached the Rams’ 22-yard line on Josh Allen’s 57-yard completion to Khalil Shakir. Nate Landman then forced a James Cook fumble, and Aaron Donald recovered at the Los Angeles 20. The Rams advanced to Buffalo’s 30, but Rousseau blocked Mevis’ 48-yard field goal attempt with 4:16 remaining.
Allen took over on the next possession. Runs of 19 and 13 yards moved Buffalo into field goal range, and Bass finished the game from 45 yards.

The lead had already changed hands repeatedly before that finish. Keon Coleman’s seven-yard catch from Allen put Buffalo ahead 19–14 late in the third quarter after a missed extra point.
Puka Nacua’s two-yard touchdown catch gave the Rams a 20–19 lead early in the fourth. Allen responded with a one-yard rushing score and a two-point pass to Dalton Kincaid. Stafford then found Davante Adams for a five-yard touchdown to tie it at 27.
Stafford finished 40 of 54 for 383 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions. Nacua caught 17 passes for 138 yards and a touchdown; Adams had five catches for 51 yards and two scores. Blake Corum contributed a rushing touchdown and 53 receiving yards, including a 34-yard catch-and-run.
Buffalo lost right tackle Spencer Brown to a back injury. The Bills initially listed him as questionable before ruling him out in the second half; Tylan Grable replaced him at right tackle. The team has not provided a longer-term absence in that update.
The Bills visit Las Vegas on Sunday, Oct. 18. The Rams host Arizona that afternoon.
