Ryan Coleman-Williams is doubtful for Tennessee; Alabama is also evaluating injuries to Racin Delgatty and Terrance Green.

  • Alabama is preparing for Tennessee with Ryan Coleman-Williams unlikely to play. Coach Kalen DeBoer said Monday that the receiver is dealing with knee and head issues, and he expects his availability to remain a week-to-week question after this weekend.

The update follows Alabama's 20-17 loss to Georgia. Coleman-Williams left the field twice during that game, returning after the first incident before exiting again in the second half. DeBoer's Monday comments describe an expected absence, rather than a confirmed return date.

WBRC reported that Coleman-Williams has 23 receptions and 415 receiving yards through six games, including three catches for 39 yards against Georgia. Losing that production would leave Alabama without one of its leading pass-catchers for the trip to Knoxville.

  • DeBoer addressed the injuries alongside his coordinators in Alabama's official Monday preview of the Tennessee game.

  • The uncertainty also reaches the line of scrimmage. Center Racin Delgatty is being evaluated for a lower-leg injury. DeBoer said he would be limited early in the week and named Mal Waldrep and Casey Poe as players who could get additional work.

Defensive lineman Terrance Green re-aggravated an injury that had already limited his practice participation. DeBoer said Alabama would continue evaluating him. Those comments do not establish either player's availability for Saturday.

  • The Tide's next game is at Tennessee on October 17, with kickoff scheduled for 3:30 p.m. Eastern on ABC. The practice week will clarify how many of the three starters Alabama can use.
