Indianapolis had 399 yards to Tennessee's 186 and led 13-0 at halftime. The Colts still lost 26-20 on Sunday because their turnovers and punt mistakes kept giving the Titans ways to score without sustaining much offense.
Tennessee earned its first victory of the season and improved to 1-5. Indianapolis fell to 2-4 after Joey Slye kicked from 49 yards with 2:03 remaining to put the Titans ahead, then added a 44-yarder after the Colts turned the ball over on downs.
The Colts had held Tennessee to 64 yards in the first half. That advantage disappeared as the Titans forced three turnovers, recorded six sacks and found two major plays in the punt game.

The mistakes begin immediately after halftime
Jonathan Taylor fumbled on Indianapolis' first play of the second half, with Jeffery Simmons forcing and recovering it. Tennessee turned the takeaway into Slye's 29-yard field goal. The Colts later reached Tennessee territory, but Cor'Dale Flott intercepted Daniel Jones to end the threat.
Slye made a 56-yard field goal to bring the Titans within 13-6. Chimere Dike's 58-yard punt return then left Tennessee with a short field, and Cam Ward found Carnell Tate for an 8-yard touchdown with 13:00 remaining.
FOX Sports' official clip shows Tate securing his first NFL touchdown to tie the game:
Tate caught six passes for 70 yards. Ward finished with only 102 passing yards on 11 completions, yet the Titans were now level after trailing by 13 at the break.
A punt becomes the go-ahead score
On Indianapolis' next punt, Tennessee broke through to block Rigoberto Sanchez's kick. Oluwafemi Oladejo recovered the ball at the Colts' 14 and took it into the end zone. Tennessee led 20-13 with 10:17 left.
The Titans posted the play that gave them their first lead:
Taylor's 4-yard touchdown run brought Indianapolis back to 20-20. But a 36-yard pass-interference penalty against Cam Taylor-Britt helped Tennessee arrange Slye's next field goal. Jones then took a third-down sack on a possession that ended with a failed fourth-down attempt.
Jones completed 22 of 42 passes for 269 yards, a touchdown and two interceptions. Taylor ran for 94 yards and caught two passes for 57 more. Keenan Allen had eight receptions for 82 yards, part of an Indianapolis offense that moved the ball but repeatedly gave away scoring opportunities.
The Colts also lost cornerback Sauce Gardner to a calf injury. His replacement, Taylor-Britt, was the defender penalized on Tennessee's late scoring drive, Indianapolis' official report noted.
Indianapolis travels to Minnesota next Sunday. Tennessee hosts Cleveland after a comeback that gave Robert Saleh his first win as Titans head coach.
