Illinois ended the half with a 54-yard Hail Mary against UAB
With no time left in the first half, Katin Houser threw a 54-yard Hail Mary to Ty Robinson after the ball was bobbled in the end zone, and Illinois beat UAB 42-23. Sporting News called it an early contender for the craziest touchdown of the season. Bret Bielema told the AP he thought Houser had a 50-yard arm. This is the tape spectacle, not a sides board. Wright and Harris still expect to be added before Friday's SEC 105 — the official list is not confirmed here.
