Dallas Mavericks fans have a clearer broadcast plan for the 2026-27 season. The team announced its television schedule Monday, with nearly 70 regular-season games available free through MavsTV's partnership with KFAA29, Mike Curtis reported for The Dallas Morning News.
Local over-the-air coverage extends into 14 additional markets in the Mavericks' viewing territory, covering parts of Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and New Mexico. At least 15 games will also be carried simultaneously on WFAA in Dallas-Fort Worth, according to Curtis's report.
The distinction between the local channel and the streaming service matters when choosing how to watch. MavsTV is the free broadcast offering. MavsTV+ is the team's paid streaming platform, and the Mavericks' official site asks viewers to check their ZIP code for eligibility.

The official service also offers past games, condensed replays, highlights, original programming and behind-the-scenes material. Nationally exclusive games are outside the local streaming slate; the broadcast announcement says Dallas has 29 nationally televised games across the season.
Mark Followill returns for his 22nd season as the Mavericks' television play-by-play voice. Derek Harper, Devin Harris, Jeff Wade and Lesley McCaslin are part of the returning coverage team, Curtis reported.
For Dallas listeners, 105.3 The Fan is the Mavericks' new flagship radio station. Chuck Cooperstein and Brian Dameris will call the games. That radio arrangement provides another way to follow the team alongside its television and streaming options.
