No. 16 Michigan beats Western Michigan 13-12

No. 16 Michigan beat Western Michigan 13-12 on Saturday night in Ann Arbor.

Western Michigan led 12-7 after Dieter Kelly’s fourth field goal, a 33-yarder with 35 seconds left. On the final snap, Bryce Underwood threw a 47-yard touchdown pass to JJ Buchanan with one second remaining.

Underwood finished 12 of 22 for 170 yards, one touchdown and one interception, and added a 1-yard rushing score. Buchanan caught six passes for 126 yards and the game-winner. Kelly was 4-for-4 on field goals for Western Michigan, including a 52-yarder.
