The Packers activated Savion Williams from injured reserve Saturday, giving their receiving group another option before Sunday night's home game against Dallas. They also placed receiver and returner Skyy Moore on injured reserve, along with defensive tackles Jonathan Ford and Javon Hargrave.
Green Bay's announcement included two additions for the game: edge rusher Arron Mosby and receiver Coleman Owen were elevated from the practice squad. The moves leave the Packers replacing players on both sides of the ball as they try to extend a two-game winning streak.
The team confirmed Williams' activation Saturday afternoon:

Williams had been working through an ankle injury. His activation makes him eligible to play, although Green Bay's Friday injury report listed him as questionable after three limited practices. The transaction announcement did not specify how much he would play.
A change at receiver and on returns
Moore had already been ruled out for the Cowboys game with an ankle injury. Injured reserve now takes him out of the immediate rotation while Williams rejoins it. Their moves also affect the return game, where Moore had been handling kickoffs.
Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported that Williams returned 28 kickoffs as a rookie, averaging 25.6 yards. He also caught 10 passes for 78 yards and a touchdown and ran 11 times for 37 yards in 12 games last season. Those are several ways Green Bay could use him, although the team has not announced a specific workload for his return.
Owen supplies another receiver option for Sunday. Silverstein reported that he has returned both kickoffs and punts, making him another possible replacement for some of Moore's work. An elevation gives the Packers that flexibility without settling which player will handle each job.
Fewer bodies inside the defensive front
Ford's calf injury and Hargrave's Achilles injury had kept both defensive tackles out of Friday's game plans. Their moves to injured reserve leave Green Bay needing contributions from the remaining interior linemen beyond this weekend.
Karl Brooks, Devonte Wyatt and Chris McClellan remain available inside, while Anthony Campbell was listed as questionable with an ankle injury. Campbell practiced on a limited basis throughout the week. Mosby's elevation adds an edge defender as Green Bay assembles its defensive front for Dallas.
The Friday report also ruled out cornerback Benjamin St-Juste with a hamstring injury. Brandon Cisse was questionable with a hip injury, alongside guards Aaron Banks and Jacob Monk. Green Bay will make its final game-day decisions before facing a Cowboys team that ruled linebacker DeMarvion Overshown out Saturday.
