Amani Hooker is expected to return against Indianapolis on Sunday, but the Titans safety still needed final clearance from an independent doctor Friday, coach Robert Saleh said.
Saleh said Hooker had nearly completed concussion protocol and was scheduled to see the doctor that day, according to the Titans' Friday report. Hooker missed last Sunday's game against Houston.
The Titans ruled safety Kevin Winston Jr. out with the quad injury that kept him out against the Texans. Tony Adams, who filled in for Hooker last week, is expected to move into Winston's spot. ESPN's Turron Davenport also reported Winston's exclusion.

Cornerback Joshua Williams practiced again Friday, but Tennessee had not announced his activation from injured reserve. Saleh said Williams was progressing and the team would evaluate that day's work before deciding whether he could play.
Running back Tyjae Spears returned to practice Friday after dealing with a knee injury, the team reported.
