U2 will perform at halftime of the Green Bay Packers' visit to the Los Angeles Rams on November 25, Netflix and the NFL announced Tuesday. The Wednesday game at SoFi Stadium will be the league's first Thanksgiving Eve matchup.
Kickoff is scheduled for 8 p.m. Eastern, or 5 p.m. Pacific, in Inglewood, California. Netflix says its coverage begins two hours earlier and the game is included with all of its subscription plans.
The announcement brings U2 back to an NFL halftime stage nearly 25 years after the band's performance at Super Bowl XXXVI in February 2002. The group is marking 50 years since forming in Dublin in 1976.

Jesse Collins Entertainment will produce the halftime show. NBC Sports will produce the game coverage, including the pregame and postgame shows, the league said.
Fans in the competing teams' home markets will have another viewing option. The NFL says its 2026 Netflix games will also air on NBC-owned stations or affiliates in those cities. U.S. mobile and tablet viewing will be available through NFL+. The league says Netflix's games will reach more than 200 countries, with English, French, Spanish, Portuguese and German coverage.
The Packers-Rams game adds a Wednesday night to the holiday football schedule before Thanksgiving Day.
