Ayesha Curry's San Francisco retreat makes a very good case for a bigger sofa

Ayesha Curry's 2023 San Francisco home tour is an invitation to sit down. In a collaboration with Pottery Barn, she showed the family's city retreat, with a generous sectional at the center of the living room. The brand's official video lets her introduce the space herself.

The sofa is the part we'd borrow. When you picture a night watching a game with friends, a comfortable place for everyone lands high on the wish list. There is something appealing about a room where settling in feels like the obvious thing to do. We'd take that over having to hunt for another chair halfway through the first quarter.

In a May 2023 interview with Architectural Digest, Curry described the condo as a family retreat for days when she and Stephen had work in the city. She discussed natural textures, a favorite reading chair and a kitchen that also served her food shoots.
