Nyjah Huston’s Laguna Beach tour makes a case for a very good couch

The most tempting part of an athlete's home is sometimes the place where absolutely nothing athletic needs to happen.

In Nyjah Huston's December 2019 Architectural Digest tour, the living room has a comfortable Cloud sofa and a view he says helped sell him on the house. Plants soften the rooms. The tour also visits a trophy room and a kitchen with white quartz counters before heading to his separate training skatepark. See the official episode.

That distinction matters: the skatepark visit follows the house tour. It is easy to watch a quick clip and imagine every amenity sitting under one roof. The full video gives each place its own purpose.

My pick from the house would be the living-room setup. A good view is wasted if the furniture makes it awkward to enjoy. Put the seat where you want to spend time, then give yourself permission to sit there. That is the small version of the fantasy, and it survives without a trophy collection.
