Florida State wide receiver Duce Robinson will miss the rest of the season after tearing his ACL in last week's loss to Clemson, sources told ESPN's Pete Thamel on Tuesday. Warchant and the Tallahassee Democrat confirmed the injury.
Robinson leads the Seminoles with 438 receiving yards and four touchdown catches. Last season he led the team with 1,081 receiving yards. The tear is considered an isolated one with no complications, per ESPN, which points to a normal recovery timeline.
Worst week of the season keeps getting worse
The Clemson loss was Florida State's third in a row and dropped the Seminoles to 3-5 and 1-4 in the ACC. Florida State has since fired Mike Norvell. Now its leading receiver is gone too.

Rick Stockstill coaches his first game as interim head coach Saturday at Boston College, and he will do it without the one receiver defenses had to plan around. With four games left, Florida State has to win three of them just to reach a bowl, and that path now runs through a passing game with no proven No. 1 option.
What to watch
The first depth chart under Stockstill will show who takes Robinson's targets. The bigger question for Florida State fans is the next head coach, and whoever gets the job will be recruiting with a roster that just lost its top weapon.
