Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens finally have the Texas home they spent years imagining, and the best part may be how thoroughly it is built around staying in. Their custom lakefront mansion outside Houston was completed in November 2025, but the couple did not properly move in until February. Since then, Biles has been treating the house like a private resort, a training lounge and a very good excuse to skip the red carpet.

The bedroom is the first “I want that” stop. Biles told the design team she wanted the room to feel like a five-star hotel, and a video she shared shows remote-controlled drapes opening toward a private patio and pool view. It is a small bit of theater, but that is the point: wake up, press a button, and let the Texas morning do the rest. The primary bathroom adds a wellness-minded touch with a red-light shower head, while the home’s black-and-white palette keeps the big spaces from becoming too sugary.

Outside, the pool sits beside a man-made lake, and a custom basketball court gives the couple a place to move without leaving the property. Owens, the NFL safety, is the obvious partner for a home with that much court time built in. Biles has also shown a dedicated dog room finished in the same black-and-white tile used around the pool, a detail that tells you this house was designed for their actual life rather than staged for a listing photo.

The entertaining setup is just as specific. In July, Biles hosted a lavish sleepover with a private Pilates class on the basketball court, a flower bar, permanent jewelry, a photo booth, a private chef and a breakfast spread that ran from shrimp and grits to pancakes. The property became an event space without losing its home feeling. Later glimpses showed framed Sports Illustrated covers and Gold Over America Tour memorabilia in her office, giving the polished rooms a personal timeline.
