Ravens, Colts and Buccaneers let early leads disappear in Sunday’s NFL window
Missed scoring chances and late mistakes decide an eight-game slate, while Carolina survives its own penalties.

Carolina committed 149 penalty yards Sunday and still won by 11. Philadelphia's inability to turn those gifts into enough offense was one of several costly failures across the early NFL window.
The Panthers beat the Eagles 25-14 behind Tommy Tremble's two touchdown catches and Chuba Hubbard's 120 rushing yards. Philadelphia pulled within five in the fourth quarter, forced a three-and-out and then wasted its next possession. Bryce Young's second touchdown to Tremble supplied the final margin. Leads that did not survive
Baltimore built a 10-0 lead in Cleveland and never scored again. Derrick Henry's fourth-quarter fumble gave the Browns a short field for the tying touchdown. An offside penalty then erased a blocked field goal on the final snap, allowing Andre Szmyt another attempt. Cleveland won 13-10 on an untimed down. More on Browns–Ravens.
Indianapolis led Tennessee 13-0 at halftime and outgained the Titans 399-186. The Colts still lost 26-20 after allowing Chimere Dike's long punt return and a blocked-punt touchdown by Oluwafemi Oladejo. Tennessee also forced three turnovers and collected six sacks to get its first win. More on Titans–Colts.
Tampa Bay took a 16-3 advantage into the fourth quarter against Pittsburgh. Two Jalon Daniels interceptions helped the Steelers recover, although Chase McLaughlin's late field goal forced overtime. Aaron Rodgers then found Germie Bernard for the winning touchdown, and Jalen Ramsey's fourth-down sack finished the 26-19 result. More on Steelers–Buccaneers.

Extra chances still need points
Jacksonville received one when Travis Hunter intercepted C.J. Stroud in the end zone. Cam Little tied the game with a 60-yard field goal, but Houston used the remaining time to set up Ka'imi Fairbairn's 49-yard winner. Stroud answered his mistake with the drive that decided a 34-31 game at Wembley. More on Texans–Jaguars.

The Jets recovered two New England fumbles but settled for four Jason Sanders field goals. They scored no touchdowns on three red-zone trips, and Drake Maye's three scoring passes carried the Patriots to a 26-19 win despite mounting offensive-line injuries. More on Patriots–Jets.
The Giants piled up 461 yards but committed four turnovers in a 34-27 loss to New Orleans. A fumbled kickoff helped the Saints erase New York's first-half lead, and Tyler Shough accounted for four touchdowns before the Giants' rally fell short. Malik Nabers caught 12 passes for 165 yards for New York. More on Saints–Giants.
Atlanta cut Chicago's 31-7 lead to eight, then lost its final chance when Kyler Gordon stripped Michael Penix Jr. Caleb Williams threw for 305 yards in his return, while Gordon finished with three sacks and two forced fumbles. The Bears won 31-23. More on Bears–Falcons.
