
Sunday early finals: Maye’s five touchdowns, Warren’s big plays and a 27-27 tie

Drake Maye accounted for five touchdowns, Jaylen Warren scored twice from long distance, and the Giants and Commanders ran out of overtime without a winner. Those were three of the defining turns in Sunday's eight-game early NFL window.
New England produced the window's highest score, Green Bay took the ball away five times, and Minnesota stayed unbeaten. Houston earned its first victory; Miami and Tennessee remained winless. Here is how all eight finals unfolded.
Patriots 45, Raiders 17
Maye threw for 374 yards and four touchdowns, then added a three-yard rushing score. DeMario Douglas caught two touchdown passes as New England piled up 536 yards. Both teams finished the day at 3-2. Read the Patriots–Raiders recap.

Steelers 34, Colts 22
Warren turned an 80-yard reception and a 50-yard run into touchdowns, finishing with 101 rushing yards and 87 receiving yards. Aaron Rodgers threw three touchdown passes, two to Pat Freiermuth. Packers 31, Bears 7
Jordan Love completed 25 of 31 passes for 367 yards. Christian Watson caught touchdown passes of 42 and 53 yards, while Green Bay's defense collected three interceptions and two fumbles. The Packers and Bears are both 3-2. Read the Packers–Bears recap.
Bengals 31, Dolphins 24
Joe Burrow's four touchdown passes included a 45-yard score to Ja'Marr Chase on a one-handed catch. Jordan Battle intercepted Malik Willis twice. Cincinnati improved to 3-2, while Miami fell to 0-5. Read the Bengals–Dolphins recap.
Vikings 23, Saints 13
Aaron Jones broke a fourth-quarter tie with an eight-yard touchdown run and finished with 113 rushing yards. Byron Murphy intercepted Tyler Shough twice; Minnesota reached 5-0. New Orleans' Jonas Sanker had tied the game with an 87-yard fumble return. Read the Vikings–Saints recap.
Texans 26, Titans 3
C.J. Stroud threw for 261 yards and a touchdown and scored on a two-yard run. Ka'imi Fairbairn made four field goals, and Will Anderson recorded three sacks. Houston is 1-4; Tennessee dropped to 0-5. Read the Texans–Titans recap.
Jets 17, Browns 12
Braelon Allen's 22-yard touchdown run with 3:01 remaining put New York ahead. Allen rushed for 116 yards, and the Jets recorded eight sacks. Garrett Wilson caught seven passes for 104 yards, including a 32-yard touchdown. Read the Jets–Browns recap.
Giants 27, Commanders 27, overtime
Malik Nabers' touchdown catch with 1:43 left tied the game. Washington later recovered Cam Skattebo's overtime fumble, but Jayden Daniels was sacked with 12 seconds remaining and the Commanders could not stop the clock.
